There are many reasons a Claimant loses his/her Social Security Disability case. I have compiled a few main reasons I see people lose their case.  1.Lack of medical treatment: This is generally the number one reason people are denied Social Security disability benefits. The Social Security disability program requires medical proof that you suffer a severe condition that affects your ability to work. If you have not sought treatment from a doctor for your condition there is no evidence that you really suffer from this condition, other than your word. And frankly, Social Security will not rely on your word when determining eligibility.
